Over the course of his career, Jeff Nemecek has gained experience as a bond counsel and as an underwriters’ counsel, and he has had a hand in more than $5 billion in closed public financing transactions so far, covering 21 states, in all. Besides running his own firm, the Law Offices of Jeffrey A. Nemecek, between 1992 and 1997, Jeffrey Nemecek has worked with other prominent law firms as an attorney, primarily in their public financing practice. These days, he is Of Counsel at Denton’s in New York City, where he primarily addressing the Puerto Rico fiscal crisis and debt restructuring, but he has also been Of Counselor a Partner at Axiom Legal, from 2011-2016, Tillinghast Lichtenstein LLP, from 2006-2008, and about a half dozen other prominent firms since 1976.

Among the projects Jeffrey A. Nemecek has worked with have included infrastructure projects like solid waste and resource recovery facilities, water and sewer facilities, airports and hydroelectric facilities, as well as hospitals, schools, courthouses, correctional facilities and facilities for non-profits, to help them improve the communities in which he operates. Jeffrey Nemecek has worked with all types of public financing, including loan pool obligations, taxpayer funded projects and obligations, and government appropriated funding options, including tax-exempt and taxable obligations, as well as project-revenue financing, conduit transactions, excise tax revenue obligations.
